Worship has always been an integral part of Kathryn Scott's life. Raised in Northern Ireland by a musical family that loves God, Kathryn began writing songs at age nine, and developed a talent for both singing and playing the piano.

Growing up, Kathryn found key musical influences in the likes of Matt Redman, Brenton Brown and her mentor Brian Doerksen. Doerksen later gave Kathryn opportunities to shine on the projects Hungry and Surrender, which he produced for Vineyard Music.

Now, after seven years as a worship leader, Kathryn makes her solo label debut with Satisfy, produced by Doerksen and Philip Janz for Vertical Music. The project, says Kathryn, describes "what God has already done in our lives, whilst at the same time is a request for Him to come and continue His work in us."
