I am Marc van der Woude, a Dutchman from Utrecht. I am really tall, always keeping my head above the famous Dutch dikes. This year I will turn 40, which means a new phase in life. I am married to Karolien and we have two boys.
I am the publisher of Joel News, a leading e-zine on the advance of God's Kingdom today (Acts in our time). My passion is to see the Church become a movement again. I travel about a week every month to help kickstart and develop movements in other nations. I'm part of the European strategy teams of DAWN and Connect Europe.
I hold an MA degree in history and international relations, and worked as a journalist and communications consultant, while also doing some business on the side.
Now and then I like to do a personality test. I found out that according to Myers-Briggs I'm a generalist, type 'creator/innovator', ENTP/INTP; according to the Enneagram a combination of reformer (type 1), investigator (type 5) and challenger (type 8), and according to Belbin my ideal team role is that of a shaper or resource investigator (primary), while I also can function as a coordinator or monitor-evaluator (secondary).
